Fergus Falls SummerFest began as “The Scandinavian Heritage Festival”, 48 years ago. It has had many changes over the years, including location, size, activities and entertainment. We are a tax exempt 501(c)3 non-profit organization celebrating culture, education, music and the arts. Summerfest is funded by individual and business donations, grants and the City of Fergus Falls. The Summerfest Planning Committee is 100% volunteers.
Summerfest promotes and supports ALL of the region and celebrates the coming of summer!!
Regional high school Marching Bands, the Carlisle Band, regional musicians, family art experiences, family games, homage to our veterans, an old-fashioned parade, merchandise, food and beverage vendors all come together at the historic Kirkbride Park to make memories that will be unforgettable for all!
